Thanks for stopping by, I’m Valerie Auersperg (aka valerism), an Austrian artist and illustrator based in Auckland, New Zealand. I create bold, narrative-driven artworks that blend humour, memory, and pop culture, with the aim of sparking joy and connection.

I specialise in editorial illustrations, packaging illustrations, (children’s) book art, murals, and custom commissions for clients across New Zealand, Australia, and beyond. With a background in fashion, animation, and advertising, I bring a playful yet thoughtful lens to every project.
